DDC Baramulla for monitoring of centrally sponsored PDD schemes

BARAMULLA, JANUARY 02: In view of present weather condition and snow fall, The District Development Commissioner Baramulla , Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash today convened a meeting of PDD authorities with regard to monitoring of centrally sponsored schemes and to review overall power scenario, besides the status of ongoing development works carried out by the department under different schemes in the district.

On the occasion, the DDC inquired about the availability, demand and supply position of power supply in the district. He stressed upon the concerned authorities to speed up the pace of work on the power projects taken up in hand in the district and ensure completion of these works within the stipulated period. The schemes including DDUJY, Subghaya, RAPDRP, IPDS, PMDP, etc.

Moreover, the DDC directed the content earned project management Agency to commission and hand overall the completed sub stations to the PDD Immediately so that the people of various areas will get adequate power supply. He urged the officers to fallow curtailment schedule strictly and provide the power supply to the public as per schedule. He also stressed upon arranging buffer stock of transformers and upgradation of receiving stations within a stipulated time.

Director Planning AG Malik, SE PDD, Executive Engineer PDD Baramulla Nazir Ahmad Malik,Executive Engineer PDD sopore ,Pattan,Uri,Tangmarg ,Exn Project Management Agency and various other concerned engineers and officer were present in the meeting
